Information has emerged that the remains of American journalist Austin Tice have been found in a cemetery in Aleppo's countryside. Just a few days before, Lebanese TV channel LBCI reported that Major General Bassam al-Hassan, head of the presidential palace's security office during Bashar al-Assad's rule, secretly met with an FBI team inside the US embassy in Beirut to provide information about Tice.
